President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has approved the renewal of the appointment of Alhaji Abubakar Sadiq Yelwa as the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the National Hydroelectric Power Producing Areas Development Commission (N-HYPPADEC) for a second and final tenure of four years.
Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Senator George Akume made this known on Wednesday in a statement signed on his behalf by Director, Information & Public Relations in the OSGF, Segun Imohiosen.
The appointment is in accordance with the provisions of Section 93 of the Electricity Act, 2023.
The President urged the appointed to consolidate on the gains recorded by the Commission and bring greater innovation and dedication to the discharge of its mandate.
