In an effort to give back to the communities it serves and promote education, Smile Communications announced a new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative in Nigeria.

The initiative was a testament to Smile’s dedication to enriching lives through communication and fostering positive change in the regions where it operated.

Smile Communication considered that supporting Education in Nigeria
was a fundamental building block for the future.

The network said it understood understands the importance of providing access to quality education for all, regardless of their background or location.

Therefore, as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility, (CSR) program, Smile embarked on an initiative to support primary and secondary schools in areas where its services were present.

This was meant to serve as a Helping Hand as schools resumed.

With the reasoning that the resumption of a new term can be a challenging time for parents, students and educators alike, and Smile Communications determined to make the transition smoother.

The company therefore distributed hundreds of exercise books to each of these schools.

It was a gesture aimed at providing essential learning materials to students.

These exercise books will not only aid in their education but also serve as a symbol of support and encouragement from Smile.

For a Deeper Connection with communities, Smile Communications is more than just a telecommunications company; it is a member of the communities it serves.

This CSR initiative reflects Smile’s commitment to building stronger bonds with these communities.

By actively contributing to the development of these regions, Smile intends to make a positive impact that goes beyond its core business of providing internet connectivity.

The Network also considered that encouraging a culture of learning
education was the key to unlocking one’s full potential.

Smile Communications believes in nurturing a culture of learning and academic excellence among Nigerian youth.

By providing these exercise books, Smile aims to encourage students to embrace education, strive for excellence, and realize their dreams.

    Commitment to CSR:

This initiative is just one example of Smile Communications’ ongoing commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility.

The company understands that it has a role to play in making the world a better place, and it actively seeks opportunities to contribute positively to society.

We welcome collaboration and support from all who share our vision of a better, more educated Nigeria.

Smile Communications’ CSR initiative in Nigerian schools is a testament to its commitment to education and community development.

By supporting schools and students in underserved areas, Smile is making a tangible difference in the lives of young Nigerians, and we are excited to see the positive impact this initiative will have on their educational journeys.
