As the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) celebrates major milestones recorded in its 37 years of daunting task of changing bad driving behaviours and entrenching safe road ideals in Nigeria, the Corps has paid exceptional tribute to it’s large pool of stakeholders, particularly the media for their invaluable support, manifested in timely propagation of road safety policies and messages to the public.

    Assistant Corps Marshal,

The appreciation was contained in the anniversary message of the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed where he stated categorically that the efforts the Corps had put into creating a safer motoring environment wouldn’t have been possible, and made known to the public without the collaboration and partnership of all stakeholders and the media.

He emphasised that FRSC had enjoyed a long-standing partnership with the media, which has been instrumental in disseminating vital information to the public on road safety, reporting on the activities, and amplifying all public awareness campaigns of the Corps.

The Corps Marshal also revealed that the Corps had leveraged various media platforms to attain to its present height.

He also reaffirmed the Corps’ gratitude for the media’s role in holding her accountable and providing constructive feedback, which has enabled the Corps to refine her strategies and improve on service delivery.
