Minister of Environment, Balarabe Abbas Lawal rejoiced with the Alaye of Ayetoro, HRH Oba Azeez Isola Adelakun, the Alaye-in-Council and all indigenes of Ayetoro, Yewa North local government of Ogun State in the celebration of 2023 edition of Ayetoro – Yewa Festival.

The Minister who was represented by his Chief of Staff, Barr. Mansur Salanke at the colourful occasion disclosed that the Federal Ministry of Environment fully identified with the festival, as one of the Indigenes of Ayetoro, the Minister of State for Environment, Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako contributed immensely to the development of the Community.
The Minister especially congratulated the Minister of State for Environment, Dr. Iziaq Adekunle Salako, an illustrous son of Yetoro, who was honoured at the occasion with a grand reception.
‘He said: ‘Our dear Honourable Minister of State is, no doubt, making Ayetoro people proud. The Federal Ministry of Environment appreciated the Ayetoro dynasty for giving us such a worthy and capable representative”.
He commended the Kabiyesi, the Alaye of Ayetoro, HRH Oba Azeez Isola Adelakun, Honourable Minister Salako, and all indigenes of Ayetoro for organising such a great occasion for the development of Ayetoro Yewa Kingdom.
Balarabe prayed for Ayetoro community to continue to experience socio economic development, prosperity, and peace.
Earlier, the Minister of State for Environment, Dr Iziaq Adekunle Adeboye Salako thanked the Minister of Environment, Balarabe Abbas Lawal for sending a delegation comprising, the Permanent Secretary, few Directors and Head of some Agencies to witness the occasion.
He thanked President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for finding him worthy to be part of his Cabinet and promised to justify the confidence reposed on him.
He promised to put in his best for the achievement of the mandate of the Federal Ministry of Environment in line with Mr. President’s Renewed Hope Agenda and attainment of the eight points Economic Agenda of the Administration.
Salako further expressed his appreciation to the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, the Alaye of Ayetoro, HRH Oba Azeez Isola Adelakun, the Alaye-in-Council and all indigenes of Ayetoro, Yewa North local for honouring him at the occasion.
