Doma South/Keana Election: Nasarawa CP Meets Commanders, Warns Troublemakers

The Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State Command, CP Umar Shehu Nadada summoned all Area Commanders, Squadron Commanders, Divisional Police officers, Heads of Departments, and Tactical Team Commanders for a meeting ahead of the upcoming Doma South and Keana State Constituency election slated for February 3, 2024.

Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Ramhan Nansel said this in a statement signed on Thursday for the Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State Command.

The Commissioner of Police assured residents that adequate security deployments had been made to cover all polling units, collation centers, constituency collation centers, and INEC offices in the affected Local Government Areas where elections would be held.

He urged voters to go all out and exercise their franchise without fear, but warned those planning to cause trouble to steer clear of voting areas or risk being arrested.

The Commissioner of Police charged all officers to be professional in the discharge of their duties and civil to electorates.
