The Dangote Cement Transport section at Obajana, Kogi State has honoured committed staff in its long service award scheme.
Divisional Director Dangote Transport, Ajay Singh said the staff were recognized for their commitment and loyalty to the company.
He said: “We are here to acknowledge and recognize the outstanding contribution of our esteemed employees who have devoted their talents and efforts to the Dangote Cement Transport for many years.”
He said the immense knowledge and experience of the awardees have continued to shape the Company, while influencing the lives of their colleagues.
Some of the awardees who spoke to newsmen pledged their continued commitment to the company.
“Recognition of long service is not just about acknowledging the past but also about looking towards the future,” he said.
A statement from the Corporate Communication Department of the company said the Company takes the welfare of its staff seriously, and would not relent in motivating them through such schemes as long service award scheme.
