Barrister Kwaghdoo Terhemen of the National Boundary Commission, (NBC) and Doctor David Olusegun Bassey of the Federal Road Safety Commission (FRSC) on Saturday, tied the knot in a colourful and well attended ceremony in Abuja.
The couple, graduates of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, (ABU) Zaria,
narrowly missed being campus sweethearts.
The proud mother of the bride, Barr. Grace Akosu told Humsimedia that although the love birds were both at ABU, “she didn’t know him then”.
Destiny brought them together after their University graduation when the groom visited his bride’s brother with whom he had been friends.
Kwaghdoo’s brother told Doctor Bassey that he was going to his sister’s office so they went together and that was when she saw him again.
Within a short time, their love blossomed, because as Doctor Bassey said, back in school, he was observing her without her knowing it.
After the meeting, their friendship deepened and plans towards saying “I do” began. With their wedding ceremony over, it is now happily ever after.
Humsimedia wishes the beautiful couple a happy married life.
