The Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (OSGF) wishes to clarify recent reports and Public discourse surrounding the appointment of Yomi Odunuga as Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the SGF.
We hereby state unequivocally that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Sen. George Akume, has formally and definitively appointed Yomi Odunuga as his Personal Special Adviser on Media and Publicity.
In this capacity, Mr. Odunuga will provide strategic media advisory support to the SGF and collaborate closely with the Director, Information and Public Relations, to enhance the Office’s communication framework.
We emphasise that this appointment is official and in effect.
In light of this clarification, we advise the public and media stakeholders to disregard any previous statements or speculations contradicting this formal announcement.
Verified information will continue to be disseminated through official OSGF channels.
