The Federal Government has reiterated its commitment to enhance administrative excellence and result-driven service delivery in the Federal Civil Service, in line with the Federal Civil Service Strategy and Implementation Plan 2021-2025 (FCSSIP 2021-2025).

Director, Information & Public Relations in the OSGF, Segun Imohiosen disclosed this in a statement signed on Wednesday.

The Permanent Secretary, General Services, Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, (OSGF) Dr. Nnamdi Maurice Mbaeri made this disclosure during a 3-Day Training Workshop on Administrative Excellence Through Ethics, Discretion and Result Driven Service held in Abuja.

He emphasised that the core objective of the training workshop is to equip civil servants with expert and innovative skills to perform effectively in the modern work environment.

‘He said: ’The FCSSIP 2021-2025 is a strategic framework that has been implemented to drive innovations in the Federal Civil Service.

“The aim of organising this workshop is to further implement the strategic pillars of the FCSSIP 2021-2025 on Performance Management System in order to keep civil servants abreast of the modern workplace.

“It is aimed at sharpening their skills and to encourage them in performing optimally in their various job roles and duties’’.

Dr. Mbaeri urged the participants to tap into the expertise of the training coordinators and specialists in administrative excellence, with the aim of acquiring innovative knowledge that will be crucial for effectively fulfilling their duties.

He emphasised that this approach should be rooted in ethics and excellence to ensure results-driven service delivery.

The Principal Consultant and Managing Director of XEM Group Dr. Eugenia Ndukwe highlighted that the purpose of the training is to empower civil servants to deliver value, uphold integrity, and provide high-impact service.

Ndukwe said: ‘’The training programme has been thoughtfully curated to empower you with the knowledge, tools, and ethical grounding to excel in your role.

“Our goal is to help you navigate the challenges of modern administrative work with clarity, professionalism and purpose.’’
