    NASPRI, UniAbuja Partners To Train Military Graphics Designers, Printers On Latest Graphics And Printing Technology Skills

    The Commandant of Nigerian Army School of Public Relations and Information (NASPRI), Lt Col Adamu Ngulde, on 6 February 2025, led officers and some students of NASPRI to establish partnership with the International Institute for Publishing Studies (IIPS) at the University of Abuja.

    Among others, the partnership will entail training students of X1 Graphics Design and Printing. The training programme will be in line with global best practices in printing technology.

    The Commandant, while stating the purpose of his visit, noted that NASPRI is committed to training students to acquire practical knowledge and exposure needed to fit into the demands of Nigerian Military.

    He further urged the students to open their minds to learning, ask questions where necessary and maintain highest level of discipline as military personnel.

    He thanked the Director of the Institute for his quick and timely approval of the request for the training programme.

    In his response, the Director, International Institute for Publishing Studies, University of Abuja Prof. Chris Wolumati Ogbondah welcomed the Commandant and his entourage to the Institution’s Publishing Centre at the University of Abuja.

    He described the Military as the pride of the nation and promised to oversea the training of the students.

    He said that all applications used in Graphics Design would be made known to the students and as well exposed them to modern printing machines in the Centre.

    Highlight of the visit was a tour of the Institute’s facilities led by the former and current General Manager UniAbuja Printing Limited, Alh. Abdulwasiu Mustapha and Mr Eguzoro Gideon, and group photographs.
