    Tinubu Mourns Death Of Lagbaja, COAS, Directs National Flags Be Flown Half Mast

    President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has expressed regret following the death of the Chief of Army Staff, Lieutenant General Taoreed Abiodun Lagbaja. General Lagbaja died after a brief illness at the age of 56 years.

    Segun Imohiosen, the Director, Information & Public Relations in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation OSGF disclosed this in a statement signed on Wednesday for Secretary to the Government of the Federation, (SGF).

    The President has directed that National Flags be flown at half mast throughout the country for seven days in honour of the departed Army Chief.

    He appreciated profoundly the services of the departed to the nation and wished the family the fortitude to bear the loss.
