Governance is said to be a continuous process. But the Governor of Sokoto State, Dr. Ahmad Aliyu has chosen to operate differently.
Shortly after swearing in and assumption of office in the Caliphate State, the governor ordered the immediate reversal of the projects implemented by hi successor, Aminu Tambuwal.
A circular sited by Humsimedia showed Gov Aliyu’s dissolution of boards of parastatals emplaced by Tambuwal’s administration and revocation of land allocations among others.
Understandably Dr. Ahmad Aliyu was
elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as against the past administration of Aminu Tambuwal of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in Sokoto State.
It was yet unclear as to what could have prompted the Governor’s decisions.
