Senator Dino Melaye, (SDM), the governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP) in the Kogi State November 19, 2023 election has a way of speaking in a prophetic manner.

It is however unclear if the vocal Senator had ever spoken and it came to pass.

But on his Twitter handle, @_dinomelaye, the Senator who had his eyes on the Government House of the Confluence State in the November 19, 2023 election said that “Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan’s mandate shall be restored”.

Senator Melaye also said that justice must prevail.

@_dinomelaye said: “Natasha Akpoti Uduaghan”s senatorial mandate shall be restored. Justice must prevail. SDM.”

Senator Melaye’s words must be comforting to the Kogi-born politician, Akpoti-Uduagan who had faced diverse travails on a thorny pathway aimed at achieving her political ambition.
Natasha Akpoti-Uduagan was the Senatorial candidate for the Kogi Central Senatorial district  on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) in the just concluded February 25th general elections.
Amidst daunting challenges, she lost the election.
Natasha had earlier contested for the position of Senator under the Social Democratic Party in the 2019 general elections.
She also contested in the November 19, 2019 Kogi State gubernatorial election against the incumbent, Yahaya Bello.
