The Chief of Defence Staff General Christopher Gwabin Musa bring you warm greetings and deep appreciation on behalf of the entire Armed Forces of Nigeria.

As we navigate through the many complexities and opportunities of our time, the CDS want to take this moment of Eid Kabir to acknowledge your unwavering service, resilience, and sacrifice in the defence of our beloved nation.

To the troops on the frontlines safeguarding our communities, maritime domain and borders your courage and commitment continue to inspire hope and confidence in the hearts of all Nigerians.

You are an embodiment of patriotism, and your sacrifice will never go unrecognized.

Our Armed Forces stand as a symbol of unity, professionalism, and discipline.

We remain committed to upholding our constitutional responsibilities, protecting the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Nigeria, and supporting civil authorities in maintaining peace and order across the country.

To our fellow Nigerians, kindly understand that security is a shared responsibility.

Therefore, your support and collaboration remain vital to national security.

General Musa urges every citizen to continue working with our security forces by providing timely and credible information, promoting unity, and rejecting all forms of extremism, misinformation, and disunity.

The essence of Eid Kabir is that of wholesome sacrifice, as such, let’s continue to make unending sacrifices that will prosper our dear nation.

As the Chief of Defence Staff, General Musa reaffirms his commitment to deepening joint operations, improving welfare, investing in training, and leveraging technology to meet modern security challenges.

We are aware of our responsibilities, and we are determined to fulfill them with honour and integrity.

Let us all stand together, military, civilians, young and old to build a peaceful, prosperous, and secure Nigeria.

We have no other country than Nigeria. Together, we shall overcome our challenges and emerge stronger as one nation under God.

    BARKA DA SALLAH

God Bless the Armed Forces of Nigeria
