NEMA Mourns Death Of Deputy Director, Sanusi Ado

The National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) was thrown into mourning following the death of a Deputy Director Mallam Sanusi Ado.

He died Sunday night in Kaduna after a brief illness.

Manzo Ezekiel, NEMA’s Head of
Press Unit revealed this in a statement signed on Monday.

The late Sanusi Ado was a Deputy Director in the Department of Special Duties.

He has also served in various other departments and capacities as Deputy Director Relief and Rehabilitation, Deputy Director Human Resources Management and Head of NEMA Kano Territorial Office.

The news of Mallam Sanusi’s death jolted many staff as they expressed their grief and prayed for the repose of his soul.

The Director General of NEMA, Mustapha Habib Ahmed described the untimely death of the Deputy Director as shocking.

On behalf of the management and staff of the Agency, Ahmed commiserated with family of the deceased over the sad loss.

He also prayed for the repose of Sanusi’s soul in eternal rest.

The remains of late Mallam Sanusi Ado were laid to rest in Kaduna today Monday 23rd October, 2023 after funeral prayers according to Islamic injunctions.

The management of NEMA and staff were among sympathizers who attended the burial rites.

Ezekiel said Mallam Sanusi will surely be missed by his numerous colleagues at NEMA and its partner Agencies.
