    NAOWA President Confident Successor At 1 Division’ll Improve Chapter

    President of Nigerian Army Officers’ Wives Association (NAOWA), Mrs Salamatu Yahaya hosted the Chairperson, NAOWA 1 Division Chapter Mrs Judith Akinjobi who paid her a courtesy visit at the NAOWA National Secretariat in Abuja.

    Mrs Salamatu Yahaya congratulated Mrs Akinjobi on her appointment, and maintained that she had no doubt that Mrs Akinjobi would further add value to NAOWA activities in 1 Division Chapter.

    The NAOWA President further said that, “What you do is the reflection of who your spouse is and your number one role is to protect the image of your spouse.”

    Mrs. Akinjobi appreciated the President NAOWA and said that the legacies she established as the Chairperson NAOWA, 1 Division were still subsisting and in use.

    She also assured the NAOWA President of her commitment to give a facelift to the NAOWA Nursery and Primary School in Kalapanzi Barracks, and also pledged to revive the Vocational Training Centre at Dalet Barracks.

    Mrs Akinjobi also spoke on her determination to ensure more workshops and training for staff of NAOWA schools in order to improve their capacity to impact more on pupils, and to empower women and youth within her area of responsibility.

    She further appreciated the NAOWA President for setting the pace of exemplary leadership which is reflecting on NAOWA members.

    The event ended with the signing of visitor’s book, exchange of souvenirs, and group photographs.
