It was glitz and glamour when Legal luminary and Foremost human rights activist, Prof Mike Ozekhome, SAN, on Wednesday 12th March, 2025, received the 2024 Midwest Herald’s “DEFENDER OF DEMOCRACY AWARD”.
It was at a colourful Midwest Herald Achievers Award ceremony held in Benin City, Edo State and tagged “Legends and Heroes”.
At the event, Ozekhome also presented the keynote address titled: “Has Democracy led to Good Governance in Nigeria?”.
Here, Ozekhome received his award in company of the organizers of the event and other deserving awardees.
