General Officer Commanding (GOC) 7 Division and Commander, Sector 1 Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar has lauded the selfless service and concerted efforts of the National Park Services (NPS), Chad Basin in safeguarding human and wildlife within the North East region.

The GOC gave the commendation when the Conservator of Park (CP) for NPS Chad Basin and his entourage paid him a courtesy visit in his office at Headquarters 7 Division Maimalari Military Cantonment, Maiduguri on Thursday.
The CP, Mr JB Oladosu said that the visit was necessary in order to familiarize with the leadership of the Division as well as to seek further collaboration and synergy.
He said the synergy would further cement the already existing relationship between the Nigerian Army (NA) and the NPS in the State.
The GOC 7 Division NA, Major General Abdulsalam Abubakar expressed delight for the visit by the leadership of NPS.
He extolled the cooperation and commitment of the organisation and stressed that the efforts and determination of the NPS in the protection of both human and wildlife across the nation was worthy of commendation.
The GOC therefore gave his assurances to render all needed support aimed at improving the performance of the NPS.
