The FCT Emergency Management Agency has said that two residents trapped in the rubble of a collapsed one storey building located at Kubwa 2/2 by yellow page have been rescued.
Nkechi Isa of the FEMD disclosed this in a statement signed on Friday.
The residential building comprising 6 blocks of flat collapsed at about 11.30am on Friday.
The FCT Emergency Management Department, (FEMD), received a distress call about the incident at about 11.38am.
It was gathered that the right segment of the building collapsed trapping two tenants living on the ground floor apartment.
Other residents of the building were reported to have been out for the day, as
household items were destroyed in the incident.
Meanwhile the two victims of the incident have been taken to the Kubwa General Hospital and are in stable condition.
The Department of Development Control and the FCT Police Command attended the incident.
