    EFCC Arrests 33 Suspected Internet Fraudsters In Minna, Kaduna

    Operatives of the Kaduna Zonal Directorate of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, have arrested 33 suspected internet fraudsters.

    Dele Oyewale, EFCC’s Head, Media & Publicity disclosed this in a statement.

    Twenty-nine of the suspects were arrested on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 in Minna, Niger State, while the remaining four were arrested Wednesday, July 2, 2025 in Unguwan Mai Gero area of Kaduna State.

    Their arrest followed credible intelligence that linked them to fraudulent internet activities.

    Items recovered from them included 46 smartphones, two iPads, 11 laptops and one PlayStation.

    They will be charged to Court as soon as investigations are concluded.
