The Director General and Chief Executive Officer of the Nigerian Meteorological Agency (NiMet), Professor Charles Anosike, has charged directors and senior management staff in the agency to collaborate in order to continue to deliver value to the various stakeholders the agency serves.

Professor Anosike spoke during the quarterly senior staff meeting of the agency which included Directors and General Managers, on Wednesday, 10th July, 2024.

He said: “I want to thank you all, especially the Directors, for being instrumental in settling in the new management. I want to appreciate every one of you for your support”.

Professor Anosike said; “It is important for us to note that we have some structural challenges. Sometimes we misconstrue these structural challenges but they are not insurmountable.

“What we do will be dependent on how we work together, how we collaborate, how we care, and how we function for us to succeed”.

Professor Anosike tasked the staff to make everyday in public service count: “I’m not taking it for granted. I appreciate everyone who works here and contributes towards our success story”.
