The Commissioner of Police Nasarawa State Command, CP Umar Shehu Nadada, heartily felicitates with Christian faithfuls and residents of the State on the forth coming Christmas and New year Celebration.
A statement signed on Friday by the PPRO, DSP Rahman Nansel said that the CP has deployed 4,500 Police operatives to the nooks and crannies of the State in order to ensure public safety throughout the yuletide.
The deployment is characterised by visibility policing at all worship centers and recreational facilities, high security presence shall be maintained on the highways to ensure safety of travelers and undercover police operatives have also been deployed to carry out covert operations.
Further to that, the Commissioner of Police has ordered all Area Commanders, Divisional Police officers and heads of tactical teams of the Command to carry out raids at identified flash points/black spots, monitor cult related activities and emplace watertight security in their areas of responsibility during the celebration and beyond.
The Police boss warned that no security breach of any form would be tolerated.
While congratulating all Christian Faithfuls on the occasion of Christmas, the Commissioner of Police urged members of the public to celebrate moderately and be security conscious.
