Police operatives attached to the Gitata Division in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa State have raided the kidnappers’ hideout and rescued the trio of Abdulsalam Shuaibu, Sani Shuaibu and Blessing Okorie.

DSP Ramhan Nansel, the Police Public Relations Officer (PPRO) disclosed this in a statement signed on Sunday for the Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa Police Command, CP Shetima Jauro Mohammed.

Police received information that a Volkswagen Sharon vehicle with three occupants travelling along the Kaduna-Keffi highway was attacked, and the victims whisked away to an unknown destination

The Divisional Police Officer in the area, SP Zaks Wambai, swiftly mobilised his men to the scene and combed the vicinity.

The kidnapper’s hideout was bursted, and they were dislodged, paving the way for the rescue of the victims unhurt.

The Commissioner of Police, CP Shetima Jauro Mohammed, lauded the officers for a job well done and urged them to sustain the onslaught against criminals.
