Operatives of the Nigeria Police Force have neutralized the abductors of the wife of Assistant Inspector General of Police, AIG Hakeem Odusumu’s wife and recovered the ransom paid.
Force Public Relations Officer, FPRO Olumuyiwa Adejobi confirmed this on Thursday.
Mrs Odumosu was dragged out of her jeep by some four hooded men, and taken through a swampy area to an unknown location, six days ago.
The Inspector General of Police, IGP Kayode Egbetokun has commended the Police Operatives and Commissioner of Police, CP Ogun State, Lanre Ogunlowo, for a good job.
The FPRO said that the Police was committed to safeguarding Nigerian citizens and our dear country.
