President Muhammadu Buhari would leave Nigeria for London, United Kingdom on Wednesday to be a guest at the coronation of King Charles III and his wife, Camilla Parker Bowles.
The duo would be crowned as His Majesty, The King and Her Majesty, The Queen Consort of the United Kingdom, respectively.
The coronation ceremony is scheduled to hold on Saturday, May 6.
President Buhari is also expected to participate in a Commonwealth Summit for Presidents and Heads of Government of Commonwealth countries on Friday, May 5.
The Commonwealth Secretariat is taking advantage of the gathering of leaders in London to host the summit, which will focus on the future of the Commonwealth and the role of youth.
Femi Adesina, the Special Adviser on Media and Publicity to the President said that President Buhari would be accompanied on the trip by several senior government officials.
They included the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, the National Security Adviser (NSA), Maj.-Gen Babagana Monguno (Retd), Minister of Information and Culture, Lai Mohammed.
Others were Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffrey Onyeama, and the Chairperson/Chief Executive Officer of Nigerians in Diaspora Commission, Hon. Abike Dabiri-Erewa and the Director General of the National Intelligence Agency (NIA), Ambassador Ahmed Rufai Abubakar,
