The governorship candidate of the Social Democratic Party, SDP, in Benue State, Prof. Sebastine Hon, SAN, has pledged to revive the development blueprint of former governors, Aper Aku and Moses Adasu, if elected in the 2027 general elections.
Hon said the blueprint of the two former governors was not just about roads and farms, but about the future, stressing that it was about a Benue where youths have jobs, where education is a ladder to success, and the State a beacon of hope in Nigeria.
He lamented that the blueprint have been abandoned by succeeding administration’s and Benue people have paid the price, insisting that his candidature through the SDP will not allow the dream to die.
According to him, he will build the Benue that Aku and Adasu envisioned by reviving moribund industries, reforming the education sector and creating an enabling environment for talents to flourish.
Hon urged Benue people not to settle for the broken promises of the past, but to reclaim the blueprint which is the gateway to their future.
The SDP governorship candidate who argued that the dreams of Benue founding fathers which was that the people could only thrive together must not be allowed to die, promised that SDP as a political party with a new beginning on an old foundation will provide the needed foundation upon which a new Benue would be built.
He called for support across party lines for him to become Governor to enable him implement his blueprint for people of the state.
