The Police Officers’ Wives Association (POWA) President, Dr. Mrs. Elizabeth Egbetokun, has said that goodwill, unity, and growth are important within the nation.

ACP Olumuyiwa Adejobi, the Force Public Relations Officer (FPRO) disclosed this in a statement signed on Friday.

The Convention which spanned a period of 3 days, from the 5th-7th of December, served as an avenue for the empowerment of scores of women and children of police families.

During the Conference, the POWA President highlighted the commitment to empowering not only the wives of police officers but also the broader populace through valuable skills training and acquisition programs reminiscing on the success of the POWA 60th anniversary which saw the graduation of 110 participants from the POWA Skills Acquisition Center, Dei-Dei, Abuja.

She said: “POWA remains committed to its mission of advocating for the welfare of police families through education, skill development, and mutual support.

“The Association invites all community members to participate in future programs that aim to uplift and empower all women.
