SC JT Ayagbalo, the Public Relations Officer, Kirikiri Lighter Terminal Area Command disclosed this in a statement signed on Wednesday.

Comptroller Edeldouk stated that the remarkable revenue growth is attributed to the Command’s strategic efforts to strengthen revenue collection, improve compliance, and enhance operational efficiency.

Capacity Building: Providing regular training and development programs for officers to enhance their skills, knowledge, and professionalism.

Stakeholder Engagement: Fostering collaborative relationships with importers, sister agencies, and other stakeholders to promote compliance and facilitate trade.

The CAC further stated that the Command intends to implement robust risk management systems and data analytics to enhance revenue collection in 2025.

While announcing this significant revenue achievement, Comptroller Edeldouk disclosed that 37 officers had been newly promoted within the Command.

    The promoted officers include:

    5 Assistant Comptrollers

    7 Chief Superintendents of Customs

    Others across different ranks.

Addressing the newly promoted officers, she expressed her pride in their dedication and hard work, stating:

“I want to say how proud I am of each and everyone of you. Your commitment to excellence, your passion for your work, and your willingness to go above and beyond have not gone unnoticed.
