    FEMD To Strengthen Relations With Department Of Information And Communication

    The Acting Director General of the FCT Emergency Management Department (FEMD), Engr. Abdulrahman Mohammed has promised to strengthen the existing cordial relationship with the Information and Communication Department of the FCTA.

    Nkechi Isa, FEMD’s Head of Public Relations disclosed this in a statement.

    Engineer Abdulrahman made the promise when he led the management team of FEMD on a courtesy visit to the Director of Information in Abuja.

    The Ag. DG described the information department as a critical stakeholder, noting the importance of media in enlightenment and sensitization campaigns.

    He commended the Information department for the wide coverage given to FEMD activities and called for more support.

    In a response, the Director Information and Communication Department, Mr Hazat Sule promised to work assiduously to build on the existing cordial relationship between both departments.

    Mr Sule appealed to FEMD to patronize the department’s publication titled, Abuja Digest.
