Kebbi Area Command witnessed a shift in power on Thursday, the 6th of February, 2025 as the Comptroller, Iheanacho Ernest Ojike proceeded on retirement.

Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Customs Service, Kebbi Area Command disclosed this in a statement signed for the Customs Area Controller.
The New Customs Area Controller, Chidi Chukwumeziri Nwokorie charged his officers to be professional, disciplined and be mindful of their core mandates as they discharge their duties in their various Area Of Responsibility (AOR).
He further sought the cooperation of the officers and men of the Command and thanked the outgoing boss for his land mark achievements while in active service he pledged not to derail from his policies but build on them for continuity.
Furthermore, the Outgoing Customs Area Controller Iheanacho Ernest Ojike acknowledged the unwavering support he enjoyed from the Command officers, sister agencies, Kebbi State Government and stakeholders during his stay and pleaded for same in honour of his successor.
The grand handing over ceremony which was held at the Command’s conference room brought top Customs officers with goodwill messages from the attendees who expressed positive opinions and emotions on the life of the retiring Comptroller.
