The Nigeria Association of Women Journalists, (NAWOJ), has called on relevant stakeholders to bring an end to hardship and challenges faced by widows. This was contained in a statement jointly signed on Sunday by the NAWOJ National Chairperson, Aisha Ibrahim, and National Secretary, Wasilah Ladan. The NAWOJ President said the loss of a spouse or partner was a heartbreaking and traumatic experience that no one could endure. A widow is a woman, who has lost her spouse or partner and has not remarried.
