By Miriam Humbe The search and rescue at the site of the two storey building that collapsed this morning in Kubwa area of the Federal Capital Territory Abuja has been called off after four persons trapped under the rubbles were rescued. The rescue operation ended at about 4pm after emergency workers cleared the fallen rubbles to ground zero to be sure that no one was left under the debris. In response to a trending video, the Nigeria Police has confirmed that the suspects involved in the hijacking of a DAF SF Truck carrying 40,000 litres of Premium Motor Spirit (PMS) along the Ohodo-Opi Road in Igbo-Etiti LGA, Enugu State, on May 29, 2024, were dismissed police officers.
