A fire outbreak at number 13 Nelson Mandela Street has gutted four out of five blocks of 3 bedroom flats. Residents of the building noticed fire on the solar panels mounted on the roof of the building before it turned into an inferno. According to the Head of FEMD, Search and Rescue Team, Mr Monday Addie, the incident was reported at about 1pm. No life was lost to the incident. However, the four affected flats were totally burned. Following public inquiries, the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) today announced an expansion of the scope of existing investigation into pricing templates behind rates charged for tickets by some airlines on some domestic routes with a view to establishing possible violations of the provisions of the law. Concerns have been expressed widely in the past few days over what appears to be coordinated manipulation or exploitation in the pricing of airline tickets by some airlines on certain routes, especially in the South-East and South-South, as the festive season begins. The accident involved a Mercedes Benz 4Matic GlL550 with registration number RBC- 95DJ and a HOWO Truck Tipper belonging to Big-Dee company from Nasarawa State.
