***In Obedience To Osogbo Court Judgement Against Appeal Judgements Validating Chief Barr. Kenneth Udeze-led Party Leadership
By Miriam Humbe
The Action Alliance (AA) National leadership led by Chief Barr. Kenneth Udeze has vehemently disagreed with the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) position on going ahead with the compliance of the Federal High Court Osogbo judgement
by replacing the Party’s legitimate State Chairmen of the 36 States and the FCT.
This is despite motion for setting aside that Judgement and motion for stay of Execution of that Judgement all filed and served on the Commission.
National Secretary of the Action Alliance, Vernimbe A James made the Party’s position known in a statement signed on Wednesday.
The leadership of Action Alliance said that it can not recognize non-party members as State Chairmen of the party and said that The Commission (INEC) can not impose non party members as State Chairmen in the name of obeying Federal High Court Osogbo judgement on AA leadership against various Court of appeal judgements that settled the leadership tussle in Action Alliance in favour of Chief Barr Kenneth Udeze-led leadership of the party.
Action Alliance said: “The Commission having been aware of all the Court of Appeal judgements deliberately suppressed these material facts by not informing the Federal High Court Osogbo thereby aiding the non members of the party to get judgement against the court of appeal Abuja division.
“The illegal action of the Commission by replacing the legitimate State Chairmen of the party can be best described as executive rascality.
“The legitimate 36 State Chairmen of the party and FCT through their Counsel Chief.K.E Ngwoke has already filed motion for setting aside the said Federal High Court Osogbo Judgement and also motion for stay of Execution and all the motions have been served on the Commission with strong letter written to the Hon.Chairman of the Commission dated 23rd June, 2025 warning the Commission not to obey that Judgement pending the hearing and the determination of the motions on notice .
“We demand the Commission to review its decision and wait for the pending motions filed and served on the Commission by the affected 36 State Chairmen and FCT before taking any further steps to obey the Federal High Court Osogbo judgement against various court of appeal judgements”.
