    ***AIG Zone 5 Benin Assures Candidates Of Hitch Free Exercise

    Zone 5 Headquarters, Benin City wish to inform the general public, particularly indigenes of Delta and Edo States who applied for the 2022/2023 recruitment of Police Constables into the Nigeria Police Force, who took the Computer Base Test (CBT) on 5th – 6th March, 2024 and were later invited for Medical screening exercise but were not eventually listed in the first batch of successful candidates called up for training, that the Medical screening for the second batch is scheduled to hold under Zone 5 Headquarters of the Nigeria Police Force (covering Delta and Edo States) as follows:

    *Date:* Wednesday 26th February, 2025
    *Venue:* Magnus Eweka Police Cottage Hospital, Plot 15 Dennis Osadebey Avenue, GRA, Benin City.
    *Time:* 8:30am – 3:45pm daily.

    2. The Medical screening exercise is to be conducted by the Nigeria Police Medical Services. Meanwhile, candidates for the Exercise have been scheduled in designated syndicates and they are expected to visit the recruitment portal on: https://apply.policerecruitment.gov.ng to check their application status and print out their medical screening invitation slip.

    3. In view of the above, qualified candidates are to *mandatorily come along with their Letter of Invitation (Medical Screening Slip), National Identity Card/Slip and appear in white T-shirt on white shorts.*

    4. To this end, the Assistant Inspector-General of Police, Zone 5 Headquarters Benin, *AIG. Arungwa Nwazue, psc(+), mni* assures that the medical screening exercise will be conducted in the best tradition of professionalism and transparency, while wishing the candidates success in the Medical Screening Exercise; he further advised them to conduct themselves in the most orderly manner during the exercise and be wary of job-scammers, as the recruitment is absolutely free, without any pecuniary obligation. The AIG further warned that anyone found impersonating a candidate during the exercise would be arrested and prosecuted accordingly.
