    267 Uniforms, 564 Berets Recovered As Nasarawa Bans Ethnic Vigilante, Sundry Organizations

    The Nasarawa Police Command has received two hundred 267 pairs of uniforms, 102 pieces of black belts and 189 pieces of infantry lanyards from Kungiyar Zaman Lafiya Nomad vigilante group in compliance with Executive Order No.1 2024 on the proscription of Ethnic vigilante groups and other similar organisations.

    The Commissioner of Police, Nasarawa State Command, CP Shehu Umar Nadada said this in a statement signed by PPRO, DSP Ramhan Nansel on Sunday and made available to Humsimedia Online.

    Also, 564 black berets, 339 pieces of black/ 10 white lanyards and two identification cards were also received from the aforementioned vigilante group.

    The Commissioner of Police therefore, called on those who are yet to comply with the Executive Order to do so on or before the expiration of the two-week ultimatum; as the Command shall ensure that the ban is enforced to the latter.
